ca 425-400 BC. AR Stater (8.63g, 20mm). Pinara mint. Helmeted head of Athena right, Lycian letters 'KhE-RE' to left / Head of Kherei right, wearing Persian tiara (bashlyk); Lycian letters 'Pellafe' (retrograde) and 'Kherei' around, within dotted incuse circle. Unusually well-centered on a very broad flan and with a very appealing reverse portrait. aEF/EF. Rare.
