Kios (AD 138-192) AE 20

Time of the Antonines, 138-192 AD. AE20 / Hemiassarion (4.24g, 6h). KIA-NΩN, lion Skin draped over club / Laurel wreath. Extremely rare and very interesting. VF.

This issue has been dated to the 3rd century BC in RG, which is highly unlikely indeed. The style, fabric and lettering clearly point toward a pseudo-autonomous issue from the Roman times, most likely from the 2nd century AD.
