Caracalla, 198-217 AD. AE37 (27.20g). AVT KAI M AVP C ANTWNEINOC, laureate, draped, cuirassed bust right / EPI C[T]P M AVP GAIOV MAGNHTWN CIPV[L], turreted City-goddess in Amazonian dress standing right, holding "horned" Amazonian shield (pelta) and spear, and extending right hand towards Cybele; Cybele, also turreted, stands left before her, holding patera in right hand and drum on shoulder with left, lion at her feet. Green patina. Nearly very fine.
