Pharnabazos, Persian military commander, ca 380-377 BC. AR Stater (10.31g, 23mm). Struck circa 378/7-374/3 BC. 'Baaltars' in Aramaic, Baaltars seated left, holding lotus tipped sceptre in right hand./ 'Pharnabazos' in Aramaic to left, 'Cilicia' in Aramaic to right, bearded male head (Ares?) left, wearing crested Attic helmet. Minor porosity, hairline flan crack, good very fine.
