Eikonion as Klaudeikonion. Claudius, 41-54 AD. AE20 (3.15g, 12h). Annius Afrinus, legate. ANNIOC (Ns ligate) AΦPEINOC, bare head of Annius Afrinus right / KΛAUΔEIKONI EωN, Perseus standing left, holding harpa in outstretched right hand and head of Medusa in left at side. Good VF, brown patina, light pitting on reverse. Extremely rare. Ex Villemur Coll.; ex Kovacs FPL 17 (1982), lot 151.
