ca 188-133 BC. AR Tetradrachm (16.00g). Kleonos Ioilos, "magistrate." Head of Athena right, wearing a laureate, crested helmet / ΑΘΗΝΑΣ ΙΛΙΑΔΟΣ, Athena Ilias standing right, wearing polos and chiton, holding distaff and filleted spear; owl at her feet right, winged caduceus behind; ΚΛΕ-ΩΝΟΣ across field, ΙΩΙΛΟΥ in exergue. Surface porosity. Very Fine. Very rare. From the Estate of C. Vermeule; ex CNG 66 (5/2004), lot 429.
