Gordian III, 238-244 AD. AE43 (44.19g). Homonoia with Nikomedeia. ΑΥΤ Κ Îœ ΑÎΤ ΓΟΡΔΙΑÎΟC, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right / ЄΠΙ C ΙΟΥΛ ΛΟΓΙC/ΜΟΥ ΠЄΡΓΑΜΗÎΩΠΚΑΙ ÎЄΙΚΟΜΗΔЄΩΠΟΜΟÎ/ΟΙΑ, Asklepios and Demeter, holding long torch, poppy flower and prow of ship at her feet. Very rare. Somewhat rough, olive green patina, some scratches on obverse, otherwise almost EF. Ex Nomos 2 (2010), 208.
