Aelius, Caesar, died 138 AD. AE39 - Medallion (38.19g). ΛOVKIOC AIΛOIC KAICAP, head right / M[...]-NAION, Asclepius standing facing, head turned left, wearing himation, holding snake-entwined staff with his right hand. Unpublished (?). Excellent portrait. Dark brass tone. Slightly rough surface. VF.
