Gordian III, 238-244 AD. AE43 - Medallion (35.50g, 12h). Homonoia with Nikomedeia. C. Julius Logismus, magistrate. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Asclepius, leaning on serpent-entwined staff, and Demeter, holding patera and torch, standing on galley. Near VF, dark brown and green patina. Rare. Levante Coll.; deaccessioned from the Départment des Monnaies, Médailles et Antiques, Bibliothèque Nationale de France.
