Commodus, 177-192 AD. AE42 - Medallion (39.13g, 6h). Homonoia with Ephesus. P. Aelius Pius, strategus. Laureate and draped bust right / Pergamus, holding statue of Aesculapius and scepter, standing right, vis-à-vis Androclus, holding statue of Artemis Ephesia and scepter, standing left; lighted and garlanded altar between. Good VF, brown-green patina, some smoothing in fields. From Group CEM.
