Uncertain (BC 460-400) Diobol

ca 5th century BC. AR Diobol (1.00g, 12mm). Forepart of horse right; grape bunch to left / Head and forepaws of panther facing within incuse square. gVF. Apparently unpublished.

Based on similar depictions of the reverse, it is quite possible to attribute this type to Methymna (cf. HGC 6, 902).
